HMM well like, Leo first got updated and he just decided to IGNORE EVERYTHING LALALA NOTHING IS WRONG :'D and he is still basically doing just that even though it's painfully obvious something's up. Vincent is, in a sense, the one person Leo can talk to openly about it even if it's in evasive tones or whatever it is they do. Leo's somewhat more reassured by the fact that Vincent is still all in for doing terrible dumb things, because even if they're in Camp the fact that EVERYTHING IS HORRIBLE has not changed. At the same time he's a little :| :| :| go away Vincent Nightray I am happy and content in the stupid zombie camp where Elliot is not dead :| and Vincent is a constant reminder that Elliot is dead. So it's like half yay Vincent and half ugh Vincent.

I am pretty sure 90% of the reason Jack took a liking to Lincoln was because of the glasses. And from there it became a battle of who could be more socially awkward. For Jack, getting people is hard. He doesn't understand them half the time! Their motivations behind things are just baffling. But Lincoln is pretty open and upfront with most everything, which makes it so much easier to Jack to understand him. And he's an adult that cares. In GONE universe, Jack was dumped off at a boarding school, we haven't even gotten canon for his parents yet so WHO KNOWS what they're like, and then all the adults disappeared. Basically his interactions with adult figures have not been great because adults don't seem to care about him. Lincoln is an adult that is willing to look after Jack and after not having that for SO LONG he's just enthralled with the idea. And then there's stuff like the Thing with Peter; if Lincoln had kept quiet about it, Jack wouldn't have even noticed. So Lincoln telling Jack was just "I am telling you because I told you I would!" WHICH IS A BIG DEAL. It's gotten to the point where Jack is actually a little spoiled with Lincoln and wouldn't like sharing him with other kids besides Brianna. :U My Lincoln. Peter doesn't count because Jack likes Peter too. It helps that Lincoln spoils him silly with food and soda and desserts. Great parenting tactic, Lincoln Lee. :|b

Wendy is pretty much the awesomest adult and Leo is kind of just '-' Wendyyyyy. Before he updated she was nice and easy to talk to and they could have fun playful banter about silly things and he could pretend everything was fine. Then he updated and broke and she was someone close enough (but not too close) that he could just kind of be like...my life sucks and things are hard. But she didn't push it and let him tell her on his own, which was pretty nice given that he had a choice in the matter! He didn't have to tell her! Whereas people like Elliot and Robin he knows he'll have to tell, eventually. Wendy's in that perfect spot where Leo knows she won't go telling Elliot if he spills things to her, and he only has to tell her as much as he wants to. And she's trying to help and being pretty okay with everything and. Yes. '-'

-the only reason he started reading comics was to keep up his nerd image and then he actually liked them
-his parents/parent/guardian figure ignored hiiiiiim so he tried really hard to be the best at computers so he could show off his skills and they would pay attention to him
-...I am kind of wondering if the reason he doesn't really get people is because someone he knew (parental figure?) was TOTALLY INSANE and none of their actions made sense and he was completely thrown off because of it. So that is kind of headcanon too until MG says otherwise.

Inside, she's hoping that it's a real offer. When she talked to Lincoln she got a little swept up in the idea of moving to Boston and all of that. But she's still suspicious, and she warned Lincoln that if she finds out he's lying, she'll mess him up.

But Robin is Elliot's girlfriend and that is like the epitome of off-limits. Also feelings are hard. Also too busy being crazyface. Also Elliot is deaaaad. THERE ARE PLENTY OF FACTORS TO DISSUADE ANY KIND OF FEELINGS. But frankly Robin is adorable and sweet and pretty and then there was that red thread event and there are lots of feelings and HOW DO I DEAL WITH THIS i will just go over here and make crazyfaces at people. And basically Leo has resigned himself to being FOREVER ALONE because that's what happens when you're a Baskerville apparently. But go take Elliot with you and be happy somewhere, okay Robin.

To Robin, Elliot is Elliot but he is also a person who couldn't exist as he is now without Leo. She thinks the same of Leo, that he and Elliot are intrinsically joined and that's the way it should be. She loves Elliot as his girlfriend, and is quite happy to explore that depth with him in their own time, in their own way, and when they're both comfortable. :|b But I think Robin has recently realized that her relationship with Elliot is not ever going to be separate from Leo if it's going to be emotionally fulfilling for either of them. Elliot because he and Leo have their Thing, and Robin because she wants both of them to be happy when they can and doesn't want them to sacrifice their attachments/neuroses to fit some arbitrary definition of what a relationship is supposed to be. Because if they did, it would just make them both miserable, and that would be the opposite of what Robin wants.
She also thinks Leo is smokin' hot.

I. I don't know how else to use words. UH Victor is pretty cool and Kurt is sure he would have loved hanging out with him if he had not grown up in the crappy universe. I mean, he still enjoys hanging out with Victor now! But as with all the 616 kids, he feels like he's walking on thin ice and he CAN'T SAY THE WRONG THING or they will HATE HIM FOREVER YOU TOUCHED MY TRAUMA NOOOooooo. Which is super stressful for him because Kurt has foot to mouth syndrome. Victor doesn't seem to take offense to the stuff Kurt says though, so it's easier to relax at times. Basically Kurt is trying to balance just being another kid who hangs out with Victor but also being a helper/therapist/something he clearly is not capable of being. that's kind of a tangent. HE REALLY WASN'T TRYING TO PISS HER OFF but he's also in kind of an odd headspace in the threads with both Machika and Rain -- he's meeting them for the first time while he's in IDGAF Land due to being preoccupied over Charles missing, so he's not trying to win them over as much as he might usually.
I look forward to Machika asking Leto his opinion. also, yes pls Erik needs more people on his side. ;;
